StepApp is developed by one person named Ailee. This Privacy Policy explains what data StepApp collects, why it is used, and how users can request deletion of their data.
StepApp uses Health Connect and device activity recognition to read step count data. StepApp does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services. The app is intended for fitness, motivation, and entertainment only.
StepApp uses Google AdMob to display ads. Google AdMob may collect and process data such as device identifiers, IP address, ad interactions, diagnostics, and fraud-prevention data. In regions where consent is required, StepApp may ask for advertising consent before showing personalized ads.

StepApp does not sell personal data. Some data may be processed by third-party services used by StepApp, such as Firebase and Google AdMob, to provide app functionality, authentication, cloud storage, advertising, diagnostics, and fraud prevention.
If you use social features such as leaderboards, friends, or races, some data will be visible to other users. This includes your username, step count, race progress, race results, and leaderboard position.
StepApp keeps account and app progress data as long as your account exists or as long as needed to provide app features. Some historical leaderboard, race, or step data may be kept for app functionality, statistics, abuse prevention, or future reward features.
You can delete your account from within StepApp. When you delete your account, StepApp will delete or anonymize account-related data where technically possible and where retention is not required for security, abuse prevention, or legal reasons.

StepApp uses reasonable technical measures to protect user data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
StepApp is not specifically directed at children. If you believe that a child has provided personal data through StepApp, contact us so the data can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.
